Social Media Content Strategy
My passion for social media began with a Vine account that I started when I was 12 years old. At that young age, I grew the account to 75,000 followers within a year or two through band edits. Throughout high school and college I continued to casually experiment with content, vlogging here and there and posting to Youtube. Throughout college I took graphic design and marketing classes while freelancing for Cherokee Copper and other aspiring content creators. I finally got to apply my passion and skills to help others grow.

The 2025 Challenge
In 2025, I decided to challenge myself: How fast can I grow a Youtube channel? I launched and scaled a niche Youtube channel from concept to over 1,000+ subscribers and 800,000+ views in under 8 months. During this channel growth, I was able to develop and execute data-driven content aligned with audience behavior and platform trends, wrote SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, and tags to boost discoverability, identified optimal posting schedules from analytics and posting patterns, and more. This project made me realize I had the skills to grow a social platform. However, this was a faceless channel. For my next challenge, I wanted to see if I could develop a following using myself as the brand.

The 2026 Challenge
In early 2026, I continued to experiment with 2 more side channels, and while they performed well. Then I got a new idea. In July 2026, I decided to take a look at my old Youtube channel and TikTok account. They were stagnant, no growth, no momentum. I began my research, updated my branding, changed niches, and started my plan to grow them as quickly as I could. Within the first 6 weeks of this niche switch, I gained 867 subscribers and 814K+ cumulative views on this Youtube channel through my content strategy and consistent publishing. My TikTok account received similar growth, so I also started an Instagram with the same branding.
Within this time, I would post to all three platforms. Some with original contnent, but mostly repeating content to see which kinds on content performed better on each platform. I was also accepted into the TikTok affiliate program and other exciting offers came my way. I am eager to continue this challenge on the side in hope of it growing even more.
Cherokee Copper
At Cherokee Copper, I assisted the brand's content and design efforts across digital and print. I created Canva templates, digital designs, and print material, and initiated and executed a range of successful promotional posts, highlights, and videos across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Beyond design, I ran photography sessions and personally videotaped, edited, and scheduled educational videos. The impact was measurable: within three weeks of one post, Cherokee Copper's reach on Facebook increased 259%, reaching half a million people.
Above are some of the videos I filmed, edited, and posted for Cherokee Copper.
